PERAI, April 6 – The Perai Village Community Development Council (MPKK), led by Chairman Mr. Sri Sangar, successfully hosted a comprehensive seminar titled ‘Educational Motivation and Higher Education Options.’ The initiative, held in Penang, was specifically designed to assist 200 youths, primarily SPM leavers, in navigating their future academic and professional trajectories.

 

The one-day event served as a strategic platform for students to gain insights into the various pathways available within higher education. The program featured a series of motivational addresses and informative sessions conducted by distinguished guest speakers from Kuala Lumpur, Dr. Punithan and Dr. Sanjay. Their contributions provided the participants with a practical understanding of the contemporary educational landscape, highlighting both the inherent challenges and the vast opportunities available in the current job market.

 

The proceedings were officially inaugurated by the Penang State Executive Councilor for Housing and Environment, YB Dato\' Seri S. Sundarajoo. During his keynote address, Dato\' Seri Sundarajoo reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to youth development initiatives. He underscored that a robust educational foundation is the primary prerequisite for securing a prosperous future and urged students to remain focused on their long-term goals.

 

The success of the seminar was attributed to a collaborative effort between the Perai MPKK, the ‘Dare to Care Association,’ and the Perai Constituency Service Centre. The organizers also acknowledged the vital contributions of APPGM-SDG and Yayasan Hasanah, whose full support played a significant role in the execution of the program.

 

Reflecting on the outcome of the event,

 Sri Sangar expressed his satisfaction with the high level of engagement from the participants.
