Chennai  Nov 23 Ajith Kumar has received another prestigious award adding to his extensive list of accomplishments. This time, the honor recognizes his passion and dedication to motorsport. The actor has been named Gentleman Driver of the Year 2025 by the Philippe Charriol Motorsport Group, in a ceremony held in Venice, Italy. This recognition has been met with widespread acclaim from fans and the racing community.

 

Shalini, Ajith's wife, shared the news on Instagram, stating, "Honoured to stand beside my husband in Venice, as he is being awarded 'Gentleman Driver of the Year 2025' in honour of entrepreneur and racing driver, the late Philippe Charriol." The post included photos of Shalini with Ajith and their family.

 

This award marks a significant milestone in Ajith’s burgeoning motorsport career. Since early 2025, the Ajith Kumar Racing Team has been competing internationally, representing India in various endurance racing events. The team has achieved notable success, securing two third-place finishes and one second-place win in 24-hour and 12-hour races, bringing pride to Tamil Nadu and India.

 

The Venice honor has generated considerable excitement online. As celebrations continue, Ajith is also preparing for his next cinematic project, AK64, directed by Adhik Ravichandran. An official announcement regarding the project is anticipated shortly.
