Germany dominated the match from early on, with Lukas Kossel opening the scoring through a penalty stroke in the 14th minute. Kossel added another goal just before halftime, while teammates Titus Wex, Jonas von Gersum, and Ben Hasbach also found the net to put Germany firmly in control.
India’s lone goal came late in the game at the 51st minute through Anmol Ekka, following a well-executed penalty corner. Captain Rohit’s precise pass set up Ekka’s powerful shot that finally breached the German defense.
Germany started aggressively, pressing India back into their own half during the first quarter. Despite India\'s resilience, their defense was breached twice early on, with Wex’s deflected shot and Kossel’s penalty stroke establishing a 2-0 lead by the end of the first quarter.
India improved their gameplay in the second quarter, gaining more possession and creating several opportunities, but were unable to convert any into goals. Germany capitalized on a second penalty corner, with Kossel slotting home his second goal to extend the lead to 3-0 by halftime.
The third quarter saw Germany continue their dominance, with von Gersum scoring their fourth goal after a precise assist from Alec von Schwerin. India’s attempts to break through were thwarted by the solid German defense and goalkeeper Jasper Ditzer’s strong saves.
In the final quarter, Germany’s Ben Hasbach scored after a brilliant aerial pass bypassed the Indian defense. India’s solitary goal came shortly after from Ekka penalty corner conversion, but the gap proved too large to overcome.
