This morning, Yb Jagdeep deputy chief minister 2 was delighted to officiate the UK Great Education Roadshow at the Ascott Hotel, an event that underscores the importance of international collaboration in advancing educational opportunities. The event was graced by the presence of Madam Francine Torbett, Deputy Country Director Malaysia from the British High Commission in Kuala Lumpur, and Dato\' Lau Wai Cheng, President of the National Association of Private Educational Institutions (NAPEI), as well as representatives from various educational institutions. Their participation highlights the collective dedication to fostering a vibrant and dynamic educational landscape.

Penang\'s current standing, with nearly 500 multinational corporations (MNCs) and 7,000 small and medium enterprises (SMEs) from across the globe, is a direct result of our strategic prioritization of education for future generations. This focus has allowed us to cultivate a highly skilled workforce proficient in STEM fields and deep technology, precisely the expertise demanded by our thriving industries.

By investing in education, we empower our younger generation to reach their full potential and achieve their aspirations said Yb Jagdeep. Education serves as the compass guiding them towards a brighter future, equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and critical thinking abilities necessary to navigate an increasingly complex world.

In Penang, Yb Jagdeep firmly believe in the transformative power of education. It is the key to unlocking opportunities, driving innovation, and ensuring sustainable economic growth. Together, we can continue to champion education and pave the way for a future where every young Penangite has the chance to succeed he said .
