KULIM- Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Damai proudly celebrates the remarkable achievement of Himmanesh Mukilan, who has been officially recognised and approved as “The Most Outstanding Young Hiker As G7 Champion” for successfully conquering the seven highest peaks in Peninsular Malaysia within just seven months at the age of 14.

The prestigious record, achieved on 18 April 2026, highlights Himmanesh’s extraordinary endurance, resilience, and determination in the field of mountain climbing and hiking. His inspiring accomplishment has brought immense pride to his school, family, and community.

The G7 Mountains represent the seven highest and most challenging peaks in Peninsular Malaysia. Completing all seven peaks requires exceptional physical fitness, mental strength, discipline, and perseverance. Despite his young age, Himmanesh proved that dedication and hard work can overcome even the toughest challenges.

School representatives described Himmanesh’s journey as a true reflection of discipline, courage, and strong character. Months of consistent preparation, determination, and commitment enabled him to successfully complete the demanding challenge while proudly representing SMK Damai. His achievement has been officially recognized by AMAZING MALAYSIAN BOOK OF RECORDS (AMBR) , THE CHOLAN BOOK OF WORLD RECORDS (CBWR) and INTERNATIONAL ACHIEVER BOOK OF WORLD RECORDS.

His success has become an inspiration to fellow students, encouraging them to pursue excellence, face obstacles with confidence, and develop resilience in both academics and personal growth.
