CHENNAI, TAMIL NADU – 8Jan2026 The Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Thiru M.K. Stalin, has expressed his delight at being invited by his dear friend, renowned director K. Bhagyaraj, to celebrate the latter’s remarkable 50-year journey in the Tamil film industry and to participate in the commemorative events.

 

Despite having prior commitments to attend several official government functions, Thiru M.K. Stalin had assured Director K. Bhagyaraj that he would make arrangements to be present at the celebrations. Keeping his word, the Chief Minister participated in the event marked with the hashtag #KBhagyaraj50, where he conveyed his heartfelt warm wishes to the veteran filmmaker.

 

In his address at the event, Thiru M.K. Stalin extended the greetings with deep affection on behalf of Leader Kalaignar, acknowledging Director K. Bhagyaraj’s significant contributions to Tamil cinema over the past five decades.
